Problem

statement
Based on the personas provided by BT, my team and I conducted a series of user research.
From that, we have developed our design challenge to the following problem statement,
"How can we utilise users' data on mental health to increase the overall wellbeing of our users in various life stages?"

Loneliness

People
≠

Not Alone
Have you ever been surrounded by your loved ones yet still feel alone?
psychology.org.au identifies loneliness as a mental disorder due to mental detachment and dissociation as well as insecurities between relationships of individuals which often caused through fear of social rejection and lack of trust in others.

Eeda
App

Your Personal Self-tracking Assistant
A guided user experience is customised in time through the data provided by the users' use of Eeda app.
The "Journal" section is filled with articles, blogs and podcasts that aim to help users build confidence and trust in themselves and their surroundings as a starting step to better their condition.
Eeda app also provides group session activities that are helping events like volunteering work, to build up self-value and respect in practising altruism. Helping yourself by helping others.
Highlight

-reward
system
Tangible and Intangible Rewards
The reward system in Eeda App was to mainly give users incentives for them to work hard towards a goal but at the same time making the experience of tracking interesting.
For intangible rewards, unlocking the background scenic themes can bring users a sense of achievement.
As for the tangible rewards, highlighting BT Financial Group's concern to the wellbeing of their customer by offering a discount on their life insurance premium plans is a good way for BT to become competitive in Australian Insurance industry.
